We are currently seeking enthusiastic and empathetic Health Support Workers to join our growing team.

  • Job Responsibility

    As a Health Support Worker with Obiconsult, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live as independently and comfortably as possible, whether in their own homes or within a care facility. Your work will be varied and rewarding, contributing directly to the health, happiness, and dignity of those in your care.

    Key Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):

    • Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and grooming.
    • Supporting with mobility, transfers, and safe movement.
    • Helping with medication reminders and simple health monitoring (e.g., taking observations like temperature, pulse, and respiration).
    • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
    • Providing companionship and engaging clients in social and recreational activities.
    • Supporting clients to attend appointments and access the community.
    • Performing light domestic duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
    • Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and the wider care team, reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff.

  • Educational Requirement

    Essential Requirements:

    • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
    • A caring and patient nature.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to undertake relevant training and continuous professional development.
    • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, which may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends (depending on client needs).
    • Right to work in the UK.

    Desirable (but not essential):

    • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
    • Previous experience in a care, health, or support worker role.
    • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
